Sex show gets Flash bar closed again

PATONG: Phuket Governor Pongpayome Vasaputi has ordered the closure of the Flash A-Go-Go bar in Soi Bangla for a month after it was caught staging lewd shows a second time. At the beginning of last month Gov Pongpayome ordered Flash to close for 15 days for staging such entertainment. He told the Gazette today, “After they had been open again for just three days we checked them once more, and they were again staging live sex shows. I decided to close them for a further 30 days, with effect from September 1. “If they are caught breaking the law again after they reopen, I’ll cancel their license.” He added that the temporary closure of Flash is the 29th he has ordered in recent months. “I don’t think that tourists travel halfway round the world just to go to Phuket’s entertainment places. Entertainment is just dessert for tourists; it is not the main course or the main attraction,” he explained. “If we can control things so that Phuket is not full of drunks and bar girls, then the well-off tourists will return to the island.”
