Phuket’s annual ‘Best of Phuket’ Awards to be unveiled tomorrow
PHUKET: The winners of the Phuket Gazette‘s ‘Best of Phuket’ awards for 2011 are announced in a special four-page supplement tucked into the newspaper’s December 31 issue, due out on the streets at noon tomorrow.
The awards comprise 33 winners in five major categories: Person of the Year (4); Business (4); Service (6); Environment (2); and Restaurants (17).
Our winners are all determined on the basis of direct reader recommendations and feedback, garnered throughout the year and appraised at year end by Gazette editors.
As always with our ‘Person of the Year’ Award, the winner for 2011 is that person (or group of persons) who in the opinion of our editors stood out exceptionally for good deeds, including, particularly, activation of people to work together for a better Phuket.
