The spokesman confirmed that four airlines are preparing to provide scheduled services to the new airport. Starting July 11, THAI will operate three Boeing 737-400 flights a week, each capable of carrying 149 passengers. These flights will leave Bangkok on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 10:15 am, arriving at Krabi at 11:35. Return flights will depart at 12:10 pm, arriving in the capital at 1:30 pm. PB Air and Angel Air plan to operate five joint flights a week from Bangkok, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using a 30-seat Dornier aircraft. Starting date and flight times have yet to be confirmed. Bangkok Airways plans to begin flights in October.
