Deadline for local businesses

PHUKET: Businesses wishing to appear in the 2003 Gazette Guide, Phuket’s ‘yellow pages’, have until 5:30 pm this Thursday, 31 October, to enter (or update) their listings. Any entries made after the deadline will not appear in the hard-copy book until January 2004. Standard listings are free of charge, but they are limited to genuine businesses in Phuket, Phang-nga, Krabi (including Phi Phi), and Koh Samui. To enter or update a listing, business owners or managers should access the form appropriate to their location from https://thethaiger.com/guide. First published in 1996, the Gazette Guide goes on sale, and is placed in Phuket’s leading hotel rooms, in mid-January each year. The book, which shares the database with its online version, now contains 3,540 listings, making it more than eight times the size of any other business directory in the south of Thailand – on or off line.
