Another two days of rain, says weatherman
PHUKET: The current bad weather in Phuket is likely to continue for another two days, Amorn Chantanavivate, director of the Southwestern Regional Meteorological Center, said today. Widespread thundershowers are affecting about 80% of southwestern Thailand, bringing isolated heavy showers. The rains and winds of around 35 kmh are being caused by a strong southwesterly monsoon over the Andaman Sea and the southwestern coast of Thailand, he explained. He warned that boat operators should be very cautious.
