Phuket Queer News: Indecent proposal turns deadly
PHUKET: A man in Khon Kaen was kicked to death by his best friend after making an indecent proposal regarding his wife.
On the evening of March 27, Suraphon Rattalat, 53, went to the home of 39-year-old Sathit Phonsee in Nongko subdistrict. The pair, good friends for seven years, had planned a drinking session.
After becoming quite drunk, Mr Suraphon leaned over and asked Mr Sathit if he could have sex with his 51-year-old wife, Chamnong Siribat, who was also present.
Less than impressed with the proposal, Mr Sathit flew into a rage and started punching and kicking his old friend, then stomping on his head.
When the police arrived, they found Mr Sathit waiting to hand himself in beside Mr Suraphon’s body.
Mrs Chamnong was standing nearby, sobbing.
Rescue workers rushed Mr Suraphon to Kranuan Hospital. His injuries were so severe that he was transferred to the better equipped Khon Kaen Hospital, where he later died.
Mr Sathit confessed to an initial charge of assault.
