Hua Hin: Seven dead after morning collision

Seven people have died, just outside the Prachuap Khiri Khan township, following a collision between a car and pick-up truck.

From the police’s early investigations it appears that the truck lost control and drove into the opposite lane, trying to avoid colliding into a vehicle in front. The truck crashed into a car then the pick-up truck around 7am this morning. Half of the car ended up underneath the truck. The pickup skidded off the road and was partially damaged.

Khaosod English reports that the truck driver and six passengers in the car, all male, died at the scene. A woman, also in the truck was critically injured and sent to hospital.
