Thai man sustains mysterious testicular injury at Prachin Buri hotel
A Thai man sustained serious injuries to his testicles after an hour-long stay with a woman in a hotel in Prachin Buri yesterday, August 6.
Rescue workers were called to the hotel to assist an injured guest. When they arrived, they found the room door open and bloodstains leading from the entrance into the room. A broken glass bottle and shards of glass were found scattered across the room.
The man was discovered lying on the bed by himself. Rescue personnel initially could not determine the nature of his injuries and asked him what had happened, but he was reportedly confused and unable to provide a clear explanation.
Police later arrived to examine the scene before informing rescuers that the man had sustained a serious injury to his genitals. According to Channel 8, he had lost a significant amount of blood and was taken for medical treatment.
Investigators reviewed CCTV footage from the hotel and found that a woman had checked into the room shortly before the man arrived.
She drove a black sedan to the hotel at around midnight, booked the room and entered it. A short time later, the injured man arrived on a motorcycle and went into the same room.
The footage reportedly shows the woman leaving the room at about 1.05am before driving away. The man remained inside the room. CCTV later showed him opening the door and walking back and forth inside the room before the incident was discovered.
Authorities said it remains unclear how the man sustained his injuries, and he was unable to provide investigators with an account of what had happened.
Channel 8 reported that it had called on the woman seen in the CCTV footage to come forward and explain the events. At the time of publication, she had not contacted the media outlet or police.
