Father, mother and child found dead in back of car in Pathum Thani

The bodies of a husband, wife and young daughter were found in a car that had been parked in Pathum Thani’s Lam Lukka district overnight on Monday in what is believed to be a mass suicide. Pathum Thani is just to the north of Bangkok.
Lam Lukka police station were alerted yesterday at 4pm that a car had been parked on Soi Boonyalak off a frontage road of the motorway since 9pm Monday with three people inside.
36 year old Surachet Nilkhote was found in the driver’s seat, while the bodies of mother and young girl, dressed in a kindergarten uniform, were entwined on the back seat. The mothers been identified as Natnicha Nilkhote and the child as Fahsai Nilkhote, who police reported to be between 4-7 years old.
A stove with ashes was found in the storage space at the back of the Toyota. A bag of charcoal had been placed near the stove. Police called in experts to open the car’s locked doors and found the three bodies. A doctor determined they had been dead for at least seven hours.
The bodies were sent to a hospital for autopsy pending contact of the family’s relatives.
