TropOut is back in Phuket all this week
TropOut – the stylish international gay beach festival – is returning to Phuket from April 15 – 22.
The festival debuted in Phuket in 2016 and was headlined by DJ Robin Schulz who performed a memorable set at Xana Beach Club. The 2018 Phuket edition of TropOut will host parties at Dream Beach and Cafe del Mar, as well as a luxury boat party aboard HYPE and a private beach party at Iguana Beach Club. The schedule also takes international visitors to cooking classes, temples and some of the island’s best beaches. The international visitors are staying at Laguna’s Cassia resort.
Locals and expats are welcome to join in for all the fun and mix with 80 guests that have flown into Phuket from around the world to join the growing gay-targetted international festival. Festival Experience Manager Jamie Hutchinson says Phuket remains one of the most popular destinations on the TropOut international circuit.
“We are excited to invite Phuket’s locals to come along and join in, GLBT or just people wanting to have a great time, attend some world-class events and meet some of the international guests coming to the island to experience TropOut this year.”

• Luxury Boat Party on HYPE / Tuesday, April 17 from 10.30am
• Party @ Cafe del Mar / Wednesday, April 18 from 10pm
• Private Beach Party @ Iguana Beach Club / Saturday, April 21 from 6pm
Festival passes for all events are available for 3,395 baht. Because of limited capacity on HYPE, only 10 of these passes are available for locals. However, all other events have much higher capacity. A festival pass to all events excluding the HYPE party is 800 baht.
The Private Gay Beach Party will be a great way for the local/expat community to mingle with our international guests next Saturday evening at the boutique and under-appreciated Iguana Beach Club just off the coast road between Patong and Kamala. This party is available for only 250 baht.
